When shopping outside the borders, you should use a clothing size converter chart to help decide what international clothing sizes to buy. Know that there is no one sizing standard that is followed worldwide and the chart below is just a guideline for conversion between countries. You'll see that the U.S., the U.K., Canadian, and Australian sizes are similar but not the same, so pay careful attention. European clothing sizes are unique in that they use a higher numbered system.
